In Tanzania primary school and secondary education is funded by the government, but there are many additional costs that still hinder students from low-income families to attend school. Many of our students cannot afford school uniforms, books, school meals or even transportation and are forced to end their education early. Not finishing the formal education leaves them with limited career options.
Through the ESBN Program students from vulnerable communities can get the opportunities to attend to school and are given all the tools they need to thrive on their educational path.
We would like to invite various stakeholders to encourage our youth in education, because helping one child is another way of helping the family too, as after being employed the supported person is potentially in position to assist family members and the society in general.
